Transaction Saving


Transaction saving is kind of optional saving. Members can deposit even small amounts rupees 100. The main objective of this saving type is to build a habit of member in transaction. They can deposit and withdraw whenever necessary. In every year share dividend amount is transferred to this saving account. In this way each members have their transaction saving account in Samudayik SACCOS. Interest rate is 4.5% in daily minimum balance which is calculated quarterly. Calculated interest will be capitalized. Members could deposit themselves at office or they can also deposit with our collection representatives. In this account minimum balance of rupees 500 should be maintain at the time of withdraw.

Time Deposit

Time deposit is a kind of fix deposit. Members can deposit for a year in this saving types. Interest rate is 8% in daily basis which is calculated in quarter end and its interest will be transferred to nominated saving account like general saving account etc. Members can get the interest in every quarter end. Minimum deposit amount is Rs 5000. Withdrawal will be allowed after maturation.

Prepaid Interest Saving

It is a kind of Fix deposit. When a sum of amount will be deposited, the interest of saving will be provided in same day. The interest is prepaid for a fiscal year. If the term is remained for maturity then in the 1st day ( Shrawan 1st ) of next fiscal year interest will be calculated and that sum of amount will be transferred to general saving account. They can get that interest amount whenever they need. Its term is 1 year and the interest rate is 8% . The saving amount is allowed to return after maturity.

Program Saving

Program saving is fixed for a certain program planned by the depositors. Any one can deposit for future planed program like purchase land, building, motorcycle, mobile, and car and travelling, marriage, education etc. Program and the deposit period is calculated and allotted it into short term, mid term and long term program saving. Interest rate is 7%. Interest is calculated in half year end. Calculated interest will be capitalized. Members can deposit a sum of amount at once in beginning or they can deposit in continuously until mentioned program and period. The saving amount is allowed to withdraw for mentioned programs.

Bhaitika Special Saving

Its is also the festival saving. Samudayik conducts the Bhaitika Special program on the occasion of Tihar.

New membership, deposits and opening bhaitika special saving programs are conducted in that program. Interest rate is 6%. It objects same as in teej special saving.

Daily Savings

Daily saving is a kind of regular saving. Our Collection staffs and marketing representatives collect this saving from door to door. Minimum deposit amount is Rs 20.? Its term is 3 months and interest rate is 4.5%. Interest is calculated in half year end and capitalized. Loanee can repay the loan by depositing into this saving. Minimum maintain balance is Rs 300. Regular Savings, other savings and loan amount can be collected from daily savers.

General Savings

General saving is kind of optional saving. Members can deposit and withdraw whenever they need the money. Small amount even Rs 100 can be deposited and withdrawn at once into this saving types. Every members has opened this amount while become a member. Share dividend amount and term deposit’s interest amount is transferred into this saving. Interest rate is 4.5% in daily minimum balance which is calculated in half year end. Calculated interest will be capitalized.. Members could deposit through our marketing representative and collection staffs. Minimum account maintain balance is Rs 500. Withdraw Form ( Cheque) will be issued for this saving type.

Student Saving (Higher Education Saving)

Members and members children who are student and are the target people of this saving. For them Samudayik has managed training program once a month. In the same program they should deposit. It’s a regular saving for 5 years. Each student should deposit minimum Rs 100 per month. Interest rate is 7% in monthly minimum balance. Interest is calculated In half year end and calculated interest is capitalized. The saving amount is allowed to withdraw after maturity. Student saving is now termed as Higher Education Saving.

Samudayik Special Saving

Samudayik Special Saving is a optional saving focused to the businesspersons. Minimum deposit amount is Rs 1000 at once and minimum maintain balance is Rs 5000. Interest rate is 6% in daily minimum balance which is calculated in half year end. Calculated Interest will be capitalized. Samudayik SACCOS provide call deposit and withdraw facility upon this saving type. Collection Staffs will collect and provide money from the amount 50000 to bigger. Late deposit facility is also allowed on this saving. Members can deposit and withdraw the money whenever they need. Withdraw Form ( Cheque) will be issued for this saving type.

Teej Special Saving

Teej Special Saving is a festival saving. It objects to reduce the expenses in festivals like teej and give planning to manage teej by getting interest not by principle amount. A large program is conducted to entertain that festival in which participants can open their membership, accounts , and deposit , they can sing and dance and they will feed Dar( a kind of feast) by SACCOS. In that program depositor and new members are given Chura, Dhago ( Symbol of Hindu women’s good fortune) . Interest rate is 6%. Interest tax will be paid by SACCOS. The saving amount should be deposited for minimum 6 years. After maturation the saving amount is allowed to withdraw. Interest is calculated In half year end and calculated interest is capitalized.

Regular Monthly Saving

Regular Saving is a compulsory saving for each member of Samudayik. Minimum deposit amount is Rs. 200. Only microfinance group members and very low income people can deposit Rs. 100. Interest rate is 6.5 % in monthly minimum balance which is calculated in half year end. Calculated interest will be capitalized. Each member should deposit this saving within every month. If they delay to deposit late fee will be calculated after the 10th of next month as Rs 5 per month. It can be withdrawn 75% in 1st 5 year and 90% in 10 year or 2nd 5 year. Upon the resignation of membership the whole amount of saving will be returned.

Micro Saving

It is saving deposited by members of micro-finance group. Samudayik has been operating micro-finance among the people on its working area. Low income people organized in a group. They has to sit meeting in every month. In that group meeting saving amount will be collected and required loan will be disbursed.Our Micro-finance staff handle the micro-finance groups. Minimum Deposit amount is Rs 25. Interest rate is 6%. in monthly minimum balance. Interest is calculated In half year end and calculated interest is capitalized. Micro finance group members can become a members by this saving amount.

Khutruke Saving

It is an optional saving. Depositors can get the khutruke from SACCOS. They put money even coin into the khuturke. Khuturke is locked and the key will be at Samudayik office. When to deposit the amount Samudayik Staff will give the key and sum of amount will be deposited. This saving can be deposited in group base also. if so, the SACCOS will provide collection facility at yours place. Children, youth and elder people could deposit the khutruke saving. Interest rate is 6% in monthly minimum balance. Interest is calculated in half year end and capitalized. Non members can get the membership by depositing the khutruke saving in installment basis.

Child Saving

Child Saving is for members children. It can be deposited as optional and fixed. If we want to deposit for a long time and want to get higher interest rate we should deposit fixed child saving and if we want to deposit and withdraw time to time we should deposit optional child saving. Minimum deposit amount is Rs 50 and minimum account maintaining balance amount is Rs 100. Interest rate for this saving is 6% in optional child saving and interest calculated in half year end. Calculated interest is capitalized. If the child saving is for a long time then it will be treated as a term deposit and interest rate structure will be as per term deposit.
